It was a hot summer day in the villages close to Gornja Radgona, Slovenia. I started photographing the preparations at the brides home and then continued to the grooms home, where banquet for the guest started and then drove with the groom back to the bride. Local boys and men prepared a series of assignments and tests, before he could take the bride to marry her. He very successful and so he was able to take his bride to the castle of  Radgona  – with a big smile on his face.
Wedding ceremony in the compay of friends and family took place inside the castle in an old medieval hall. Afterwards we created wedding portraits in the castle itself, in the nearby park and at the young wheat field. I saw images of intimacy and seduction, naughtiness and tenderness and of course joy and devotion to eachother and I captured that on the photos. It is always nice for me to see those photos again.
